Jammu, June 4: Under Digital India Programme of Government of India, on the directions of Commissioner, JMC, Mandeep Kaur, Jammu Municipal Corporation has initiated the system of e-newsletter from the months of February, 2016 on its website i.e. www.jmcjammu.org. As per press release, the e-newsletter lists achievements/information of JMC relating to development works, plans, projects, sanitation drives, anti-encroachment drives etc. for the month of March, April and May, 2016. The e-newsletter is a platform to inform all the stakeholders about various policy initiatives and other activities of JMC. It is also an effort to bring different information from all the sections of JMC and make it available to stakeholders through on-line mode. The e-newsletter of JMC will serve as an integrated information platform to keep everyone updated with the ongoing endeavors of JMC. It is also a logical step in generating awareness among stake holders about the working of JMC. JMC would try to bridge the gap of information about the working of JMC in public domain. |
