NGF protests against PDD for unscheduled power cuts 6/4/2016 11:02:43 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 4: Namo Group Foundation (NGF) today stages protest demonstration against Power Development Department (PDD) for unscheduled power cuts. Speaking on the occasion, NGF State President P N Pandita said that every year in summer the Jammuites face problem of unscheduled power cuts. There are some areas where power cuts are more than 18 hours in a day. "Due to the erratic power cuts the water could not be pumped from the water stations which has led to a situation of drought among the people as no regular water supply is seen in the Jammu region", he said, adding that there are places where people are without water supply for five to six days in this situation people are facing problems in these hot days of season. The authorities at the helm of affairs should understand the situation.
