RAMBAN, Jun 4: District Development Commissioner, Ramban Mohammad Aijaz conducted market checking at Ramban and realised Rs 13,300 from erring traders.
A joint team lead by Tehsildar Ramban, Gurpreet Singh comprising EO (MC) Ramban, Zubaida Parveen , TSO Ramban, Abdul Khalik, Naib Tehsildar, G.H Sehmat, and SHO, Ramban, Pardeep Kumar carried out a surprise checking in the Ramban market.
During the inspection, Rs.13300 was realised as fine from the defaulters shopkeepers by checking squad they also destroyed 50 kg rotten vegetables.
Shopkeepers were warned to desist from using this banned material which could attract a penalty. Shopkeepers, dabawales and vendors ware directed to maintain hygiene and quality of eatables and also ensure display of Price list. Public was also made aware about the health hazards of polythene carry bags which may contain various harmful chemicals and caused the drainages chocked. |
