jammu, Jun 4: Three border villages got trapped in jungle fire along the Line of Control in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir.
"Major fire broke out last night along the LoC in Nowshera sector following which three to four villages got engulfed," police sources saud here today.
They said fire tenders are pressed into service while men are also on job in assistance with army, police and fire and emergency services team.
"Three villages namely Barsali, Kalwant Chowk and Kalgota got trapped in the jungle fire," he said, adding that process to douse the flames is in progress. |
