Hit & run case: Relatives stage protest against police failure 6/4/2016 11:18:44 PM Early Times Report Jammu June 4: Family members of the victim of hit '&' run case who succumbed to his fatal injuries today protested and demanded the arrest of the accused biker who is absconding. Relatives of deceased who succumbed to injuries today in Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu (GMC&H) Jammu after performing last rites staged protest demonstration by blocking road at Canal Police Post Jammu alleging Police for its failure to nab the accused so far who still is absconding. After last rites of deceased Rattan Sharma, the relatives assembled outside the police post and raised slogans in support of their demands. Protesting family members said Rattan Sharma was returning home from shop when a speedy motorcyclist hit him and sped from the spot leaving the injured in critical condition. "Passersby immediately shifted the injured to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu (GMC&H) Jammu where he succumbed his injuries, they said, adding, "but it seems the concerned police have failed to nab the accused till now."
