Govt fails to address grievances of Micro industrial units' holders: STIA | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 13: The Members of Small and Tiny Industries Association (STIA) today said that state government has failed to address grievances of Micro industrial units' holders. According to press release, Association President Harbinder Singh expressed serious concern with regard to various problems being faced by the Industrial Units within Jammu Province. He expressed that the present coalition Government of BJP-PDP failed to address the genuine grievances of Small & Micro Industrial Units which are facing threat of survival due to the non implementation of Industrial policies framed by the Government from time to time. Quoting, an example of JK Medical Supplies Corporation has formed by the JK State very recently and the Managing Director of the Corporation had put certain conditions in the Tender documents which can never be fulfilled by the Small & Micro Industrial Units. He further said that since the formation of the new Government in State, whole of the business is facing a threat of survival because of the policies adopted by the coalition Government of agitation by the Industry in case the genuine grievances of the Small, Micro Industrial Units are not readdressed at the earliest. Captain V K Dugga , Ashok Basotra, Ajay Jagotra and Shantanu Gupta were also present on the occasion. |
