Srinagar, JUNE 13: Jammu and Kashmir State Judicial Academy on Monday organised one day training programme for all process servers of Kashmir province in the State Judicial Academy at Srinagar under the guidance and patronage of Chief Patron of State Judicial Academy, Chief Justice N. Paul Vasanthakumar. On this occasion, the Chairman and member of the Judicial Academy, Justice Muzaffar Hussain Attar and Janak Raj Kotwal were also present. On this occasion, Abdul Rashid Malik, Director, State Judicial Academy sensitized the participants about their duties, execution of process, modes of service and also the duties and functions of Process Servers and writing of report of acknowledgement of summons. In his address, Director, State Judicial Academy emphasized upon the Process Servers that the nature of their duties is very delicate as the process servers is the first messenger of the judicial system and has to create a positive impression upon the litigant by his conduct and behaviour. The process servers one and all appreciated the first ever programme organized by the Judicial Academy for the process serving agency and requested for more such programmes to equip them with knowledge and procedure of smooth serving of summons and processes. |
