Jammu, June 13: In order to make India healthy and disease free through Yoga practices, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Kathua organized Neighbourhood Youth Parliament at Middle School, Salalpur. Around 165 participants from various clubs participated.
Som Datt Zard, DYC deliberated on Youth Empowerment through village level youth organizations to play active role in women welfare, social development, economical activities and actively participate in National flagship programmes like, PM JDY, Beti Bachao, Beti Padio, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Skill Development, Plantation, water conservation, Ladli Beti Yojana etc.
Kartar Chand Verma, CHO, educate about NRHM, safe Child and Motherhood, Beti Bachao, Beti Padio, sanitation, hand wash and prevention of disease etc. Dr. Amit Sharma, District Nodel Officer, JKEDI, delivered lecture on startup India, development of entrepreneurship venture, financial assistance etc. D.C. Bhati, Deputy Director, Employment educate about employment schemes of govt. and urged youth to get benefits of these schemes. Dushant Singh, Councillor of Employment office delivered lecture on Schemes of self-employment, Uddan, Himayat etc. |
