KATHUA, JUNE 13: To prevent annoyance to the general public and disturbance of public tranquility, Additional District Magistrate Kathua, Atul Gupta today issued prohibitory orders for 300 meters area around the Mata Vaishno Devi Mandir Langerial (DayalaChack) Hiranagar. "The area will be dry area and drinking of alcohol (expect in the bar room of tourist Dak Banglow, Dayala Chak eating meat, use of tobacco and narcotic drugs etc, performing of funeral rites except in cremation ground) is totally prohibited. Parking of the vehicles on Mandir side or in its way is also prohibited" the order stated. Anybody violating this order shall be prosecuted under section 188 of the Ranbir Penal Code. The order shall remain for a period of two months from the date of issuance of order. |
