Jammu, June 21: A middle aged unidentified female (55) was found dead from canal under mysterious circumstances at Kanachack area. Police have registered a case in this regard. Police sources said that some passersby noticed body of a woman floating in canal they immediately inform the police.
"After getting the information, police immediately reached the spot and fished out the body from the canal later, the body was shifted to the mortuary of the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu for autopsy, sources said. They said a case in this connection stands registered while further investigations are on to ascertain exact reasons behind the death and identity of the deceased. |
