| Parkash Parab of Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji Maharaj celebrated | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 21: Like other parts of Country and throughout world the Parkash Parab of Miri Piri De Malik Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji Maharaj (Sixth Guru of Sikhs ) was celebrated in Gurudwara Baba Chanda Singh Jee Jain Bazar, Jammu in which an impressive Kirtan Darbar was organized by the Management Committee Gurdwara Baba Chanda Singh Ji Jain Bazar Jammu and Nirvair Social organization.
The Guruparab was celebrated with gaiety and religious fervor. Sangat from surrounding areas of Jammu city and Citizens from all walks reached Gurudawara Sahib for listening the Kirtan Darbar and Katha Vachaks. On the occasion the langar also distributed amongst the sangat. Moreover a stall of langar and Chabil water (Cold Water) was also organized and distributed among the local citizens in the Jain bazaar on this occasion.
Dr. Tejinder Singh Jee, Kirtan Jathas, Biba Harpreet Kour, Bibi Amrit Kour, Bibi Nirmal Kour Ji and Bhai Sahib Bhai Sukhev Singh jee recited the Kirtan Mera Man Lochai gur darshan taa-ee Bilap karay chaatrik kee ni-aa-ee, Jiyu Darat Hai Aapna, Man Mandir Tan Ves Qalandar , They also highlight the biography of Sri Guru Guru Hargobind Sahib Jee Maharaj. Comrade Sukhdev Singh Jee President Desh Bhagat yaadgaar Committee also attended the function speak on the occasion
While speaking on the occasion S. Sukhbir Singh President of the Committee critised the role of Revenue Department for not allotting the land for reconstruction of Guru Charan Kamal Asthan Ser Manjila Sahib which was demolished by some miscreants in the year 1984 when the Gurudwara Sahib was in the safe custody of Police. He stressed upon the Police to reopen the case and arrest the persons who had stolen the Nishan Sahib. The committee demanded through World the Guruparab will be celebrated in one date in this regard Sri Akal Takht and Dharam Parchar Committee will take necessary steps, on the eve of 350 years of Paraksh parab of Sahib-E-Kamal Sri Guru Gobind SinghJee Maharaj, the Government of J&K will organized a Gurmat function and allot the funds for organizing a function at large scale and the Gurudwara Guru Nanak Dev Jee Chand Nagar be declared as Historical place and put them on Tourist map, the Shops of Municipal Committee in Chand Nagar falling in the precincts of Historical Gurdwara Guru Nanak Dev Jee be removed, Minority Community Status to Sikh Community being Microscopic minority, In the memory of General Bikram Singh,( the Hero of War) a land near KALA Kendar be allotted to the Sikh Community so that yearly we may organize the function as per the Gurmat Rehat Maryada and others. |
