EJAC demands release of salaries 7/2/2016 11:01:18 PM Early Times Report Jammu, July 2: A high level meeting of employees Joint Action Committee was held at its Central office under the Presidentship of Abdul Qayoom Wani. In the meeting all the leaders showed their strong resentment and protested for non-payment of salaries to employees working under various schemes like NPS, SSA, RMSA, SBM, NHM and non-payment of salaries to temporary employees working in various departments. In the meeting Abdul Qayoom Wani said that to stop the earned and legitimate salaries of employees is a gross violation of employees rights and the people at the helm of affairs are responsible for putting thousands of employees and their families in starvation and mental trauma.. Wani said that employees working under various centrally sponsored schemes and NPS scheme are the worst hit by official apathy and without salaries for months together besides all temporary employees, casual labours, daily-wagers, seasonal employees and contingent paid employees. He said that keeping in view the festival of Eid-ul-fiter, the Government should take necessary steps on war putting basis for the release of pending salaries of employees, otherwise the employees have no option to come on roads and govt. will have to face the brunt of employees.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
