Secretary Tourism gets update of dev works 7/2/2016 11:01:24 PM Early Times Report Jammu, July 2: The secretary Tourism Farooq A shah took a review meeting of all CEO's and HOD's in the tourism and floriculture sector to get update about the ongoing development works in the respective tourism spots. Shah urged the officers to be present in their place of posting and ensure sanitation, garbage disposal and implementation of regulatory mechanisms to facilitate tourists. The officers were instructed to implement the ban on polythene use for which the secretary has framed a monitoring cell which keeps him informed so that the violators and negligent officials can be made accountable . The secretary tourism stressed for completing the ongoing projects under the CM commitment with speed and quality .Farooq A Shah also instructed the floriculture department to complete the revival of damaged parks and gardens post flood without any further delays because the parks and gardens compliment the tourism industry as a whole. MD cable car was asked to ensure the timely completion of the Jammu ropeway and ensure the hassle free Gondola experience for the visitors. The secretary tourism has set a two days deadline to the officers to ensure the sanitized clean tourism spots by installing required infrastructure like dust bins ,bio toilets ,STP's and by organizing special cleanliness drive in the respective tourism spots .   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
