Jammu, July 2:Police today claimed to have arrested a drug peddler and recovered around 5 kgs of brown sugar from his possession during naka laid under jurisdiction of city police. "On specific information, police party led by Inspector Shakti Sharma raised a naka and intercepted a non local person."
"During frisking, police recovered 5 kgs brown sugar from his possession", said a police source adding that he was arrested while the consignment was seized. Police sources further said the identity of the person has been kept secret while raids are being conducted to arrest other associates of the accused. |
