Minor alleges rape, one booked 7/2/2016 11:44:06 PM Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, July 2: Police have registered a case against one person following rape allegation from the family of a minor girl in Majalta of Udhampur district. Police have launched a massive manhunt to nab the accused who is at large till filing of report. According to police sources, a written complainant was lodged by the family members of a girl (13) with Police Station Majalta in Udhampur District alleging therein that one Bodh Raj (32) s/o Mani Ram of Sundla in Majalta Tehsil have committed rape upon minor. Quoting the complainant the police said, "The man entered the home and raped the minor when no one was at home." "Following written complainant from father of victim, the Police Station Majalta registered a case under FIR No. 44/16 u/s 376 CrPC against accused Bodh Raj, police said. Police have conducted raids to arrest the accused while girl was sent to District Hospital Udhampur for medical examinations.
