Jammu, July 3: Block Congress Committee (BCC) Nanak Nagar raised a strong resentment and protest against the Government's non seriousness for increasing prices of food items and providing basic amenities to the people of the state.
Addressing a protest at Nanak Nagar, the BCC President S. Parveen Singh said unscheduled power cuts, water scarcity in the town made the life of the people very miserable. "No attention is being paid by the government representatives, who made tall claims and promises during elections but fail to deliver on ground in reality", congress leaders said, adding that the people of the state feels deceived and ignored by the ministers and M.L.A's representing Jammu region.
Prices of the commodities of daily use like vegetables, Pulses and food items are touching sky high and poor section of the people feels difficult to survive.
BCC strongly protest the failure of BJP led Government at the centre for the price control and BJP-PDP Govt. for it's totally inability to provide the basic amenities to the people of the state in general. |
