DHS official patronizes 'rogue' doctor Andher Nagri! 7/4/2016 12:26:43 AM Early Times Report Jammu, July 3: An influential doctor who had made the life of his colleagues miserable has been transferred to his hometown Bilawar as a "punishment posting" to cool down the tempers. The influential doctor, according to the sources, enjoys the patronage of a senior official at Director Health Service (DHS) Jammu and that's why he is calling the shots. Sources told Early Times the doctor in question used to harass his colleagues by using unparliamentarily language and by teasing female staffers by cracking indecent jokes at Community Health Centre (CHC) Sohanjana. Fed up of his indecent attitude female staffers filed number of complaints against him but no action was taken against him due to him being a close aide of a senior official at DHS Jammu. Sources revealed that recently a complaint was filed against the doctor that he demanded a solar connection for heating in doctor's duty room but the electrician refused to oblige. Later the doctor called up the electrician and abused him and threatened to kill him for not following his diktat. A probe was ordered by the Chief Medical Officer to ascertain the veracity of the allegations leveled against the said doctor. The probe report stated that he (doctor)is creating lot of problems for the smooth functioning of the hospital.
