Panthers protest against erratic power supply

Jammu, July 3: JKNPP today held a massive protest demonstration at Janipur drawing the attention of the Govt. to solve the issue of power fluctuation, cuts and other crises arising due to power failure.
Speaking on the occasion, Neeraj Gupta Zonal President said people are fed up of the unscheduled cuts and fluctuation at Janipur. During these days when summer is at peak without electricity the people are forced to live a miserable life, students cannot study properly.
The old men, ill people, women all are forced to live life in an unbearable hot and sunny days without electricity. The good citizens are denied even from their basic rights.
He further added that there are number of Govt. offices in these areas, which cannot work properly due to unscheduled power cuts, which indirectly also resulted in loss to the common man.
He demanded that the Govt. should immediately took proper initiatives to improve regularize the electricity supply in the area and also put a check on this apply so that due to fluctuation the people might not bear loss.
He also said that through this protest party wants to draw the attention of the PDD minister of the State towards his fake and false promises of 24 hours power supply.
The present Dy.CM and the PDD minister had promised to the people of Jammu region that the Govt. will provide the 24x7 electricity to the people, but the people are not even getting the electricity for at least 12 hours a day.
