Jammu, Oct 3: The Institute of Management Sciences, an ancillary unit of the Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions conducted "RangDe", a cultural event for students of Management and Computer Science Department. The special guests for the occasion were Bodh Raj Verma, Chief Coordinator, YCET and Rajneesh Magotra, HOD (Civil Dept.), YCET. The Management of IMS including the Director J. R Dhotra along with Nidhi Jamwal, Chief Coordinator, IMS and the faculty appreciated this endeavour of the students and encouraged them for the future endeavours.The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation from the students of both the departments in different activities that took place in the event. One of the activities was face painting, which is the artistic application of cosmetic "paint" to a person's face. There were special water-based cosmetic "paints" used for face painting.A healthy activity was also organised for the students named as Fruit Salad, in this activity the students were supposed to prepare nutritious dishes with the use of fruits, salads etc wherein hygiene, taste and presentation mattered. Students had shown amazingly brilliant ideas of creating vacuum cleaner, flower bunch, and wall hanging etc from waste material in the activity.Neha Singh and Divya Jamwal, cultural club coordinators of IMS, coordinated and organized the entire program and also presented the vote of thanks. |
