Jammu, Oct 3: Labourer injured in grenade explosion
Poonch Oct 3: A labourer was injured today in a grenade explosion which took place at the encounter site where security forces eliminated four heavily armed terrorists in Poonch on September 11. According to reports, some labourers were working at the under-construction complex of the mini-secretariat when one of them accidently touched a grenade reportedly left over during search operation conducted after three day long encounter concluded. "The grenade exploded after a labourer picked up a trouser, apparently belonging to one of the slain terrorists, sources said, adding, " the injured labourer was immediately shifted to District Hospital Poonch for treatment. Pertinently four heavily armed terrorists were killed in the three-day-long encounter at the site- the under construction Mini Secretariat Building in Poonch on September 11. |
