Billawar Hospital will be enhanced to 100 beds : Nirmal Singh 2/2/2015 11:37:04 PM Early Times Report Billawar, Feb 2 : Reiterating his commitment to betterment of the people, Senior BJP leader & MLA Billawar, Dr Nirmal Singh today said that he will take up the issue of enhancing the bed capacity of Billawar Hospital from present 30 bed strength to 100 beds for the welfare and cause of people of the constituency He said this while addressing a gathering present at annual day function of Government Degree College (GDC), Billawar in which students, faculty and prominent citizens participated enthusiastically. Senior BJP leader & MLA Billawar , Dr Nirmal Singh was the Chief Guest on this occasion in in his address he said the he will get the education system revamped for Job orientated education besides getting the capacity of Billawar Hospital to be increased to 100 beds. Dr Singh said," The students in colleges are the future of Jammu & Kashmir and they needs to be nurtured in proper way as they will write a new history and get J&K on path of glory ." Dr Singh said, " I will see that PG classes starts functioning in Billawar and take up the issue of establishing sub campus of Jammu University soon in Billawar." He also said that he would also take up the matter of setting up of Pharmacy school in Billawer in near future. "It is shocking to see that out of 41 faculty in Billawar College , 35 are contractual, Dr Singh said, further adding, "Education department in the last decade has passed through corrupt practices taking toll of education system and academics of students." He assured that he will work to get the education sector revamped in J&K in particular a corruption free and goal oriented system".
