DC directs to conduct surprise visits in Kunzar, Boniyar 2/3/2015 10:50:48 PM Early Times Report Baramulla, Feb 3 : Acting upon the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Bara-mulla to observe the functioning of the various government departments, the Tehsildar Kunzer and Tehsildar Boniyar conducted surprise visits at government offices and random market inspections in their jurisdictions. TehsildarKunzer, Shuaib Mohammad Naikoo made a surprise visit of Public Health Centre (PHC) Kunzer and found two officials of the PHC absent from duties in an unauthorized manner. Tehs-ildar Kunzar in his report submitted to the Deputy Commissioner, specifically mentioned that a Doctor was on casual Leave, but the signatures in the casual leave were not verified. It may be noted that the Concerned Tehsildars have been on a regular inspections of the Government Offices besides making a random market checking to ensure that gullible consumer are not fleeced. Meantime a team of officials headed by TehsildarBoniyar, Irfan Manzoor conducted market checking at Chandanwari Boniyar. The enforcement team lifted 01 kgs of polythene was destroyed on spot under the campaign Polythene Free Uri. Shopkeepers were directed to avoid the use of polythene bags and were warned not to violate relevant clauses of Consumer Law while those who were found guilty were fined under appropriate rules.
