Forgery case: ZEO among three booked for issuing fraudulent orders for ReT post

Reasi, Aug 16: Police today registered a forgery case against Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Mahore and a clerk for allegedly issuing three orders in favour of a Rehbre-e-Taleem (ReT) of a local by misusing their official positions.
Local sources alleged that the state of affair in the Education Zone Mahore is so disarrayed that even those closer to Ex Minister easily could manipulate selection process for accommodating blue eyed or influential persons.
Meanwhile Police sources sharing the sequel of events said that in the year of 2004, 2005 and 2006 ZEO Mahore in connivance with a clerk and a teacher issued three orders in favour of beneficiary Manzoor Khatimat s/o Ghulam Rasool Khatimat of Bathoi Mahore.
Sources further said that the three orders have been issued to block the post from any other candidate from applying for ReT post at Upper Ungla Bathoi till the brother of Bashir Khatimat who was clerk in ZEO office attained age of eligibility.
Police said an FIR registered against ZEO Mahore teacher Bashir Khatimat and clerk Manzoor Khatimat for issuing three appointment orders in year 2004 2005 and finally 2006 for appointment of ReT.
Pertinent to mention here that SDPO Mahore Ayaz Sheikh has conducted preliminary enquiry into the matter and after completing it directed SHO Mahore Rumal Singh to register FIR against all concerned for cheating and forgery of record.
Following the directions, a case under FIR no 89/2015 under sections 420, 467 and 468 of RPC has been registered at Police Station Mahore and investigations is on.
