Jammu, Aug 16: The State government is shying from arresting hardline separatist chief of radical women's outfit Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Asiya Andrabi, who addressed a rally organised by Mumbai mastermind Hafiz Saeed-led Jamat-ud Dawa in Pakistan. It is not for the first time Asiya has done something radically anti-India. Radicalised in the Salafism, ultra radical sect of Islam, Asiya is doing such acts consistently to gain media limelight . The state government till now has not arrested her, despite the fact that she had in the past attacked beauty parlours and also girls wearing jeans in the Srinagar. Asiya, has been carrying out and planning anti-India activities without any fear of the Indian state from her residence in the city. "She is doing it deliberately and freely knowing full well that she will not be arrested. She feels that if the state government arrests her , it will evoke strong reaction from the radical groups. Masarat Alam was also doing the same, but if he can be arrested, why s can't she? questioned a senior official wishing not be named. According to sources, Asiya is being funded and supported by Al-Hadis and Salafi sects, which had banned the entry of the women in the Haji Ali dargah in the Mumbai. Police sources said she is doing act of defiance deliberately and on the instructions of the Paksitan especially the ISI, which itself has got ultra-radicalised, to undermine the Indian state. "Like Masart, she should also be arrested. She did an act of defiance when Pakistan has killed Indians in the Poonch sector. A strong case should be filed against her to send a strong signal not only to radicalized elements in the Kashmir but also to the Pakistan," said a senior official. |
