Reasi, Aug 16: A government school teacher was booked for allegedly raping a girl in far flung Mahore of Reasi district area and even forcing her to abort the child.
Police said the victim lodged a written complaint alleging that the accused teacher repeatedly raped her as she used to live alone with her mentally ill mother.
"The victim alleged that the middle aged government teacher, who is in her relation not only exploited her sexually but also forced her to abort child on the assurance to help her when she got pregnant," police said quoting the victim.
"Following the complaint lodged with police, the concerned police accordingly registered a case under FIR No 85/2015 u/s 376, 316, 142, 506/109 of RPC at Police Station Mahore," police said and added that investigations in this regard are on.
A massive manhunt is on to nab the accused who reportedly is absconding till now, police said.
When contacted Sr Superintendent of Police (SSP) Reasi Sujit Kumar said that a case has been registered and police have launched manhunt to nab the accused teacher. |
