Jammu, Aug.16:- One day camp was organized by Agriculture Extension Officer zone Nagrota Jammu along with JAFO and VASA under the name and style of ' Kissan Jagiti Mission".
On this occasion, Farmers were given knowledge about cleanliness regarding management of Insects, pesticides etc. The farmers were made aware about the insidious use of Pesticides, chemical fertilizers and crop saving medicines.
The lecturers were delivered by extra penal of the department comprising Arun Kumar Gupta, Sunil Sharma, Raj Kumar,Ashwani Mahajan Jaspreet Singh and Sukhwinder Singh. The experts suggested how to protect agriculture produces, cash crops, Oil crops, pulses etc.
During lectures, judicious use of fertilizers chemically especially storage of agriculture produces and use of ' Neem' leaves were suggested to save grains from pests. The experts also laid down stress on ' Swachch Bharat Abhiyan in agriculture field to protect the crops from unwanted insects and plants. |
