Rajouri, Aug 16 : Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages Rajouri organised folk music programme to engaged local and non local folk singer on the eve of independence day celebrations.
The programme was started with the welcome address of Dr Alamdar Adam Cultural Officer Rajouri, he said the main objective of these activities not only to inculcate the writing, artistic and Musical skills and spirit among younger generation but also spreading a massage of peace, prosperity, communal harmony, brother hood ,oneness and to attract them towards local languages and folk art also, Nayeem Akhtar Education minister and Chairman District Development Board Rajouri was the Chief Guest where as Kuldeep Raj Gupta vice chairman Pahari advisory Board, MLA Rajouri Adv.Qamar Hussain, MLC Vibodh Gupta, Ex Health Minister Shabir khan and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
Artists includes Ashfaq Mir and party, Parvez Malik, Gulnaz Chouhan, Shafiq Khan, Mohd Shabir, Javaid Firdos, Imtiaz Shah, Shokat Nadeem and Munir Tass at Rajouri and others at Nowshera. |
