Youth Congress lodges protest against Pak 8/17/2015 1:35:11 AM Early Times Report Ramban, Aug 16 : Criticizing the heavy shelling and firing in Poonch by Pakistan, scores of Youth Congress activists lodged a strong protest here at Batote area in Ramban district. The protest, as per the release, was led by Rashid Malik, Kathua-Udhampur Doda Lok Sabha Vice-President and Ramneek Singh Raina, Incharge Kathua-Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha segment. Addressing media men, Malik said the BJP government in center and state has failed on all developmental fronts whether it is corruption, cross border infiltrations, unemployment or other issues. "Where are those BJP leaders who promised peace in JK? Why the power loving state BJP ministers are not uttering even a word against repeated ceasefire violations by the Pakistan?" questioned Malik. He urged upon the party workers at the gross root level to unite against the nefarious designs of BJP leaders and expose their misdeeds before the public. Ramneek Singh Raina asked the NDA government in Delhi to take up the issue of repeated ceasefire violations with Pakistan High Commissioner in India and other at the helm of affairs in Pakistan so that no innocent life in border gets killed in firing.
