No clean chit to anyone, will respect outcome of inquiry: CRPF | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, Jan 5: Refuting the media reports that clean chit was given to CRPF personnel accused in Zainakote killing of a youth in November, a spokesman of the CRPF said judicial inquiry report in the incident will be respected. Reacting to some local media report that CRPF has given a clean chit to its men, spokesman Ashish Kumar Jha in a statement here this afternoon said a judicial inquiry into the incident is going on which is the most trustworthy instrument of establishing fact in our system. He said it will definitely bring about the actual cause behind the death of youth during agitation. "We have not issued any such statement in this matter and have never given clean chit to our men," he said. "Now it is solely a judicial matter and we anticipate the truthful outcome of this enquiry and will obey the outcome of judicial report with respect and regards," Jha said. However, he said voicing any pre-occupied opinion on this matter will be deemed as premature. Moreover, being the true peacekeeper and the most trusted, people friendly & responsible Force of the Union; we extend our full cooperation in Judicial Enquiry to support the proceeding. Also it is our sincere request to all media houses to kindly wait till the completion of Judicial Enquiry before publishing any news on this matter, he said. |
