Separatist leader seeks passport for Dubai trip

srinagar, Jan 5: A senior separatist leader in Kashmir is making desperate attempts to get back his passport reportedly for Dubai trip during harsh winter-Chilla-i-Kalan.
Reports said that the leader is sending feelers to New Delhi and is even planning to visit Delhi in coming days for the same purpose. They said that leader's passport is lying with Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
"He (Separatist leader) is planning to visit Dubai for which he requires the passport," an insider informed.
He said that the family of Separatist leader has already reached Dubai and is staying there from past several weeks.
"His family reached few weeks ago. They have to attend a marriage ceremony there," he revealed.
Sources said that Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) hasn't cleared the passport of the separatist leader despite State Government recommendations.
They said that leader himself is sending credible feelers to New Delhi, however Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and Central Government hasn't agreed to renew his passport that expired in year 2013.
Highly placed sources informed that the separatist leader along with his subordinate is travelling to New Delhi to get his passport file cleared from Ministry of External Affairs.
They revealed that his close aide, also a separatist leader is also staying these days in New Delhi who is understood to have established a contact for Passport renewal.
Leader, if allowed to visit Dubai or any foreign country could meet his handlers where in they can decide the future course action regarding ongoing India-Pakistan dialogue
