Poonch, Jan 5: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Mohammad Harun Malik today reviewed the preparations for 27th Road Safety Week to be observed in the district from 10th to 16th of January 2016 in a meeting of concerned officers which was chaired by him.
As part of the 27th Road Safety Week activities, awareness rallies and camps, symposia, painting competitions, medical camps will be held in different parts of the district with effect from January 10 to 16. The theme will be 'Road Safety-Time for Action'. General public, transporters, drivers and conductors will be sensitized about the importance of adherence to road safety rules in letter and spirit to ensure safety of human life.
Among others, ACR, Shafiq Ahmed Choudhary, DySP Hqtr, Mujeeb Ur Rehman, DEPO, Makhan Lal besides officers of Poonch Municipal Council, Traffic and representatives of private schools attended the meeting. |
