Vijaypur, Jan 5: Sarpanchs of four blocks of Vijaypur Constituency assembled at Gho Brahmana in a meeting under the chairmanship of Rampal today accused that present regime is misusing the MG NREGA Funds as well as other development funds in the constituency. They threatened if the government fails to implement Panchayat Raj Act and Rules then they would be compelled to launch agitations.
Chief Guest Anil Sharma president of Panchayat Conference in his address alleged that the state government is not acting as per Panchayat Raj Act and Rules. "If the government fails to implement the Panchayat Raj Act and Rules then they would be compelled to launch agitations," he added.
He also alleged that coalition Government is misutilizing the MGNREGA Funds as well as other development funds i.e. CD funds, MPLAD, BADP Funds etc.
Among those who spoke in this meeting were Sarpanch Rakesh Dogra, Sarpanch Shiv Ram, Sarpanch Tajinder Singh, Sarpanch Mohan Singh Bhatti, Sarpanch Raja Singh, Sarpanch Bhagwan Dass, Sarpanch Prem Pal, Sarpanch, Gulam Din, Sarpanch Swarn Sharma, Sarpanch Subash Sharma and Sarpanch Raman Singh Slathia. |
