Kathua, Jan 13: To memorialize 14th Shaheedi Divas of Rifleman Mangal Singh of 15 JAK RIF, who got martyrdom on 12th January 2002 in Poonch sector while fighting with the enemies, villagers organized function at his native village Ladoli, on Tuesday.
On the occasion, Pradesh Committee General Secretary Ex Minister Dr Manohar Lal Sharma along with District Congress Committee President Ex-MLC Subash Gupta, Dharm Singh father of Shaheed Mangal Singh and other prominent offering tributes garlanded the statue of Shaheed Mangal Singh.
Hailing the supreme sacrifices of the Police, Army and Para-military personals for the peace and integrity of the country, Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma said that the Dogras have made immense sacrifices. They had given their valuable lives to preserve the unity of the country by exhibiting tenacity, courage and bravery during the difficult times. |
