PDP website goes offline with Mufti's death 1/13/2016 11:00:20 PM Early Times Report Srinagar, Jan 13: Within a week of the sad demise of former Chief Minister and PDP patron Mufti Muhammad Sayeed, the party has suspended its online operations with its official website www.jkpdp.org going offline. Two years ago, ahead of the assembly elections, the party had launched the website at the time of the announcement of the election manifesto. That time the party had posted its manifesto, codenamed "Inspirational Agenda", on the website, throwing light over the promises which the party had made to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The website contents were believed to have been the brainchild of PDP leader Haseeb Ahmed Drabu who reportedly had composed the "Inspirational Agenda", which subsequently "failed to realize". Till a few days ago the home page of PDP was full of pictures pertaining to public meetings of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and his daughter, Mehbooba Mufti. The PDP would also post news bulletins on the website. But today when many, particularly media persons anxiously typed the URL, www.jkpdp.org to know latest development about the party, likely to form government in the coming days, the website didn't respond. "This Account has been suspended. Contact your hosting provider for more information," read the message on the website. Sources said website has been suspended for some major revamp in its content, which the leadership wants to change in accordance with the needs of the time and major revamp expected in then party structure in the coming days. Sources said the PDP didn't want to keep the website content available for any public use till every bit of it would be perused by the leaders who will be entrusted with the job of maintaining the website. "Several faces have got exposed. Like the change of guard, the website administration will undergo changes," the sources said.
