JKNPP pays tributes to Gen Jacob 1/13/2016 10:23:00 PM JAMMU, Jan 13: Expressing deep shock over the demise of former Lt. General JFR Jacob, the Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) said that India has lost a great soldier of the time and he has lost a great friend, human being and trusted soldier of the country. In a statement issued here today, Prof Bhim Singh said that General Jacob, the Hero of Bangladesh Liberation Movement who led Indian Army with great victory and earned affection and support from the people of Bangladesh, was a unique demonstration of India's highest form of secularism and oneness. General Jacob, perhaps was the only Jewish General who led the Indian Army with great respect and honour. He shall remain all the times as lasting light in the history of secular India.
