Narco- peddlers held with 15 gm of Heroin & 8 gm charas 1/13/2016 11:37:31 PM Jammu, Jan 13: In continuing drive against the drug peddlers to curb the drug menace and its circulation among the youth by District Police Jammu, Satwari police today arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 15 grams of Heroin and 8 gram Charas from their possession during a naka checking at Satwari. The accused have been identified as Munish Kumar s/o Mangal Dass of Dogra Hall, Kachi Chowni and Imran Mohammad s/o Mehmood Ahmed of Gujjar Nagar. Police spokesman said that during Naka checking police team headed by ASI Mohd Akram intercepted a Maruti Zen bearing Registration number JK02AA-2903 and put it to thorough checking. "During checking of the vehicle two persons namely Munish Kumar son of Mangal Dass of Dogra Hall, Kachi Chhawni and Imran Mohammad son of Mehmood Ahmed of Gujjar Nagar the occupants of car were also put to frisking", said spokesman, adding that police recovered 15 gms of Heroin and 8 gm of charas from their possession. Police said that in this connection, a case under FIR No. 9/16 under section under section 8/20/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered against the accused persons at Police Station Satwari. Police further said that the accused namely Munish Kumar is a habitual criminal and is involved in several FIRs registered in different Police stations of the city. The catch was made by ASI Mohd Akram and Inspector Manjeet Singh, SHO Police station Satwari under the supervision of SDPO Gandhi Nagar Sachin Gupta, SP south Shahzad Ahmed Salaria under the overall directions of SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
