Family runs from pillar to post for sheller under IAY 2/28/2016 11:32:28 PM MS NAZKI Early Times Report Mendhar, Feb 28: the government formulates schemes for poor people time to time for their benefit but sometimes it turns irony when these schemes do not materialize and the beneficiaries have to run from pillar to post for petty things yet fail to achieve the same. Mohd Shabir Khan of Sanjoit village in Mendhar tehsil who died in 2012,left behind poor family including four daughters and two sons besides wife and old father have no house to live in. While the family falls in Below Poverty Line (BPL) category yet their miseries were not looked into as the men at the helm of affairs made them to run from pillar to post despite being entitled for a house which were being constructed by R&B Department for under privileged people under Indira Awas Yojna (IAY). Since the family is in distress as they have been exhausted by the rounds they were deliberately to made in one pretext or the other around the Offices of ACR Poonch and department of R&B, but they failed to get anything on their hand so far. Youth organization Balakote president Shahbaz Akbar Khan when interacted with the family during his visit to area took the stock of their grievances and urged the District Development Commissioner Poonch to look personally into the matter as family is living in inhuman conditions hence provide them shelter under IAY.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
