Harish Chander Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 28: A vigorous tussle has begun among Inspectors in Rajouri district to head four police stations which are without SHOs for the past some time. The four police stations became headless after the transfer of their SHOs to other places. Now, the Inspectors, who were attached to the Rajouri DPL, had activated all their resources to head these police stations, police sources said. Sources said some Inspectors, who were at present posted as SHOs of far-flung police stations in the district, were also persuading their seniors to provide them a chance to serve in the city police stations. Sources said while the list of Inspectors, who were to be transferred and posted at new places, was ready, it was kept on hold due to the recommendations made by senior police officers and some politicians. It was likely to be released in two days or so, the sources added. The names of two Inspectors for their posting as SHOs were said to have been finalised by the seniors, sources informed. |
