Transfers of DSPs on cards 2/29/2016 12:30:00 AM Early Times Report jammu, Feb 28: A major reshuffle of Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) is on the cards in the State. Police sources said since PHQ was in the process of affecting transfers of DSPs in near future, the latter had started approaching senior officers and politicians for their posting as SDPOs and at other important places. The PHQ was making a list of the DSPs, including SDPOs who had several complaints against him, for their transfers and new postings, the sources added. While there was no vacant post of SDPOs in Jammu city, several DSPs were trying for their posting as SDPOs at Domana and Nagrota. Some posts of DSPs had also fallen vacant after the promotion of DSPs to SPs in the recent past. After finalising the list, PHQ would send it to Home Department for its approval.
