Mehbooba worried over damage to EDI building, no tears for slain troopers | | | Saahil Suhail

Anantnag, Feb 28: Peoples Democratic party President, Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday showed concern over the damage done to Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) Building during Pampore encounter. Parliamentarian from south Kashmir however skipped to honor the sacrifices of troopers including two army officers who got killed in 48 hours long encounter. "Youth is our asset, if they will pick up the guns what will we do. EDI building where our youngsters receive training suffered damages in corers," Mehbooba said while addressing workers in Khanabal Anantnag. However, she didn't utter a single for those jawans or army officers who lost their lives in the encounter. Mehbooba also didn't mention the gardener of EDI who got killed in the encounter. Pertinently, three army commandos, including two Captains, two CRPF personnel, one civilian and three fidayeen militants of Lashker-e-Toiba outfit got killed in Pampore gun battle on last Monday. Over 100 employees including son of Hizb Chief, Syed Mueen was rescued by the forces from the building that sustained damages of over 500 crores according to EDI officials. |
