UDHAMPUR, Mar 1: District Administration Udhampur appealed to the general public of the Udhampur District for participation in the Red Cross Mela and Sports Carnival, commencing at Mini Stadium, Udhampur from March 2, 4:00 PM onwards. In this regard the District administration is making all requisite arrangements for the smooth conduct of the Mela like uninterrupted power supply, barricading, seating, safe drinking water, sanitation, medicare, security at the mela site.
Number of departmental stalls, temporary sweet shops, toy shops and other eatable corners by the locals as well as outside vendors would be the main attraction for the general public visiting the Mela site. Cultural programme would also be presented by the artists of the local area during the mela.
District administration requested all to attend the Red Cross Mela in large number and make Red Cross Mela a grand success.
