Traffic cops under transfer allegedly enjoy plump posting

Jammu, Mar 1: Some of the blue-eyed cops posted in traffic wing of the Jammu and Kashmir police (JKP) adopted a new way to avoid time bound transfers allegedly by greasing palms of the clerical staff of the senior officials.
Sources within department alleged that some selective cops of Traffic police are enjoying plump postings along the National Highway but why the concerned officials are sidelining these postings reasons better known to them.
If sources are to be believed, these blue eyed of traffic wing of the JKP, despite are under transfer on complaint basis but allegedly have got their transfer orders amended by using their influence and by offering enticement to the clerical staff of the senior traffic officers.
Sources within department also informed that some of these blue-eyed and influential cops have been enjoying posting along National Highway for the last 5- 10 years. "Whenever some senior officers tried to transfer them, sources said, adding, "the cops used their tricks to manage their transfers orders amended including greasing palms of clerical staff to modify their transfer orders."
Sources alleged that a traffic constable even manages to collect a whooping amount Rs 10000/- on a single naka each day along National Highway by corrupt practices and that's why some of the black moles within department are getting their posting stagnated and never wanted to leave these prized postings and always are ready to use all tricks be it appeasement policy , or political influence or be it the enticement policy.
