3/1/2016 11:51:30 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Mar 1: Idiom, just below the lantern, lies the darkness seems just right for the Tehsil Supply Office (TSO) in Ware House Jammu, as without any fear of the government, the Office remained closed for the entire day on Tuesday, causing inconvenience to the visitors. "The residents of two constituencies, namely Jammu West and Marh depend on said office for concerned works but as a number of people reached here the office of TSO was closed", said a visitor, adding that when he went to nearby office of Assistant Director CAPD, who was also not present in his office.
"People go to TSO office to get new/renewed ration cards, and more than two dozen people on Tuesday visited the office, but the office was closed, it seems that the officials have no fear, as even during Governor rule they don't bother to be present on duty", said another visitor.
He further said that the officials at AD office were also surprised when they came to know that the office of TSO was closed. "I did wait for a long time, but nobody came there", said an old man from Marh, who visited the office on Tuesday. "Aadhaar cards are being updated with the details of ration cards, so I came here for the same, but it is shocking that on a working day, the office is closed", he regretted.
Director CAPD, Jammu G S Chib did not respond to repeated calls for comment.
