Centre likely to announce IIMC for Kashmir 3/1/2016 11:53:09 PM Early Times Report jammu, Mar 1: The Central Government is likely to announce Indian Institute of Mass Communications for the Kashmir and may also announce IIMs both for the Jammu and Kashmir regions. According to the sources though the announcement of the IIMC was made only for the J&K with no specific region announced, but will be allocated to the Kashmir, as step for re alliance of the PDP-BJP Government. The sources said the Central Government may also announce two IIMs in the Jammu and Kashmir regions to pacify the concerns of the Kashmir region, which is feeling a little let off in the process of the sanctioning of the institutions of the national repute to it in the BJP headed Central Government. "The BJP is sensitive to the concerns expressed by the PDP in its meeting . We may make announcements in this regard about sanctioning of these institutions. It will be first and important step in placating the concerns of the PDP and make the ground for our Government," said a senior BJP leader close to the party high command. The announcement may be made soon and it will pave the way for the formal talks on the Government formation. Sources said the PDP has expressed concerns to the BJP unless some thing tangible is done to address the issues specifically of the Kashmir region, the Government formation is not going to take place. "The BJP has to address our concerns. It can't think like just a party which has a base in the Jammu region. It's now heading a Government and it must act like that by addressing the issues of all the regions," said a senior PDP leader. Sources said that PDP leadership is deliberating on the development which are taking place and is viewing how the BJP responds to its concerns.
