Police traces 2 missing girls

Doda, Mar 01: Doda Police today claimed to have traced two missing girls from different areas and handed over to their parents after completing all legal formalities.
Police spokesperson said, on 17/12/2015, a missing report was registered at P/S Assar with regard to missing of one girl namely Lakshmi Devi (21) d/o Tara Chand r/o Chirota Assar, from her house on 15th of December last year. "Following complaint Doda Police swung into action and activated the sources as well as enquired from the parents/relatives of the missing girl, police said.
"On the tip-off of reliable sources and Call Detail Reports (CDRs), Doda Police finally traced out the missing girl from Manglore, Dinga of District Kathua on Monday, where she entered into marriage with one Surjit Singh s/o Bishamber Singh of Mohra Bachater, Dinga of district Kathua.
"Similarly, another girl namely Rubina Banoo (19) d/o Bashir Ahmed of Kandalo, Gandoh, was reportedly went missing from her house since 23/09/2015 and accordingly a missing report was entered at P/S Gandoh. Gandoh Police launched massive hunt to trace the girl and finally traced out the said missing girl on Feb 28, police said.
Police added that the general public of the area has appreciated the role and timely action taken by the Police.
