MENDHAR, Mar 1: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) organized induction programme for new batch students at Government Degree College Mendhar here today.
According to press release, the programme was organized under the guidance of Principal, Dr. Javaid Ahmed Qazi. Assistant Regional Director IGNOU Jammu, and Resource Person, Vikram Singh. Co-ordinator study centre Mendhar, Prof. Shokit Hussain welcomed all the guests and students in the programme and put the detailed report of the functioning of the study centre. Assistant Regional Director delibrated the students about the rules and norms of IGNOU and also create the queries raised by the students regarding their respective courses.
On the occasion Principal, Dr. Javaid Ahmed Qazi lauded the IGNOU for the establishment of the study centre in this remotest part of the state which is highly beneficial for the learners of the IGNOU and in imparting the quality education to the learners of this border area. |
