jammu, Mar 1: In two separate road mishaps, Jammu & Kashmir Police Constable was injured hit by Truck and one woman injured hit by Truck on National Highway Udhampur.
According to the police sources, a truck bearing regd no JK18A-1311, hit a Police Constable while he was performing duty at police naka at Rehambal National Highway and injured him. Locals shifted injured constable to the District Hospital (DH) Udhampur from where doctors referred to Govt Medical College (GMC) Jammu for specialized treatment. The injured has been identified as JKP Constable Hari Krishan, police said adding, "vehicle was seized and driver Nazir Ahmad s/o Mohd Soan of Kazikund Kashmir was arrested on the spot." "Rehambal police registered the case and further investigation going on, police said. Meanwhile in another road accident, one Puja Devi w/o Moti Lal of New Plot Jammu was injured in a collision truck of and Alto car near Rehambal National Highway. Police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to District Hospital (DH) Udhampur. |
