NSUI disappointed over Budget 2016 | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 1: NSUI State President J&K, Neeraj Kundan showed his disappointment over the budget 2016. He said that the budget does not meet the needs of the students. Kundan said that there is no special scholarship or scheme for the students proposed by the previous government. No such scholarship has been introduced in this budget. "This government has only introduced Rs 1,000 crore for higher education development. Where as the previous government and the other nations keep about 5% of total budget for the higher education development which is much more than introduced in this budget", he said. He further said that Budget session 2016, the government said that they are focused on Skill development Industry that's every skilled youth will be employed. "But it has been more than a year of this government and there are lakhs of qualified and skilled youth who are roaming unemployed. So this government needs to focus on the employment of these unemployed skilled youth first", he added. He said that the government in its agenda said that the government will bring back all the black money vested. "But till now the government has not taken any step for this black money. Moreover the budget introduced is totally political. This budget has meant a lot of development for the states where elections are ongoing. A special eye has been kept on these states to gain political support", the student leader regretted. He also said that the tax on deposit and removal of savings from EPF will certainly hit a large number of union and state government employees and other salaried employees. It is totally a budget which has maximum for capitalists and minimum for Aam Aadmi |
