PIL on closure of industrial unit in residential area
HC directs govt to file objections within 4 weeks

Jammu, Mar 7: A high court division bench of Chief Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice Bansi Lal Bhat today directed state to file objections on a PIL seeking closure of an industrial unit which was operational in a residential area.
The petitioner has sought closure of Kalsi Tyre Retreading, which was alleged to be creating pollution and causing health hazards to common people residing in the area of Bahu Fort.
The bench, after hearing the petitioner's counsel, directed state to file objections within four weeks. (JNF)
