GS Asgotra Early Times Report jammu, Mar 7: Prior to coming to power in State with People Democratic Party (PDP), the BJP Government's Central leaderships in series of rallies had claimed to provide five marlas plot to cross border firing affected families, and also castigated previous Governments, has not met its own words. Paradoxically, following the footsteps of its predecessor (NC &Congress), the BJP has left no stone unturned to betrayal masses by not completing ambitious projects which was initiated by previous Governments. "Always raised finger over previous Governments for ignoring Jammu, for Kashmir centric approach hitherto of the successive Governments, the BJP's 10 months tenure with Peoples Democratic Party in the State, not has been completed a single project which were initiated by the former Governments", said insider in BJP, adding that there are some projects including Mubarak Mandi-Bahu Fort ropeway, beautification of Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex, Buddhist heritage site at Ambaran, Temple complex at Purmandal, Gharana Wetland development and Gandola project at Patnitop are the projects which are hanging in balance either due to lack of funds or environmental clearance, have been unfolding BJP's claims. "The callous approach of BJP can be gauged from this fact that however, both then Deputy Chief Minister in PDP-BJP Government and Minister for PHE, Irrigation &Flood Control had reiterated that the Tawi artificial lake would be completed in stipulated time frame, while former CM, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed had raised doubt over completion of the ambitious project just after he took charge as Chief Minister. Since, not even a single penny has been released for the completion of the projects", said BJP insider. "Interestingly, during State Assembly election in 2014, the BJP's top leaders even Prime Minister, Narendra Modi in series of rallies in Jammu had claimed that if they come to power in J&K, would allot five marlas plot to the people of border who are living adjacent to international border or suffering with cross border firing but after remaining 22 months in power at Centre and 10 months in State, it has been failed to complete their promises made with people of Jammu", added insider in BJP, wishing not to be mentioned. However, BJP's Minister, Spokesperson always alleged Jammu based Ministers of successive Governments for delaying in completion of these ambitious projects because they didn't seriously pursue the cases with the Centre, not within the Government but in its (BJP) 10 months tenure, the Minister of BJP raised question of development in Jammu but as they arrived in Valley they forget the agenda of development, alleged insider. |
